Dr. Weingarten
Dr. Charyl Weingarten joined The Lake Dental Group in August of 2010 and continues in the practice’s tradition of graciously serving the Duluth community. Besides the exquisite view of Lake Superior, Dr. Weingarten says her favorite part about working at The Lake Dental Group is the kind and caring people she gets to work with each day.
Dr. Weingarten attended the University of Oregon on a Track and Field scholarship, and completed her undergraduate studies at North Dakota State University earning a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. In 2009, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Creighton University. She went on to receive a certificate in Advanced Specialty Education from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, completing a General Practice residency in hospital dentistry.
With a passion for staying fully informed on the recent advances of dental technology, Dr. Weingarten frequently takes part in extensive continuing education and annual dental conferences. She has completed the “Post Graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry: Level 1” sponsored by the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
When Dr. Weingarten is not in the clinic, she enjoys music and theater performances, but primarily enjoys the outdoors with her Boxer doggie, Darryl DeeDee, and the many activities the Duluth seasons have to offer.
